Collett Smart has been working with children and their parents for almost 20 years. She holds a Bachelor of Education degree, as well as an Honours Degree in Psychology with a specialisation in Special Needs.

Collett is a qualified counsellor and offers counselling to children, adolescents and their families. She uses her skills in Play Therapy for young children and provides counselling for teenagers in both private practice and as a School Counsellor. She has experience running Life Skills workshops on various topics for teachers, parents and teens.

Collett has worked as a teacher in the Main Stream classroom from Preschool to High School, as well as in Special Needs in both the government and private sectors. More specifically assisting children with ADD/ADHD, Aspergers/ASD, Behavioural and Learning Difficulties.

Collett has also worked in schools in 3 countries, with a diversity of ages and cultures.
